Feed Your Neighbor
Our Feed Your Neighbor Food Pantry will be open on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month. January 10th and 24th from 10:00am-12:00pm. If you know someone that is in need of help during these hard times, please let them know about Zion’s Food Pantry.
We are in need of chunky soups, powdered milk and monetary donations. Thank you for your donations!
Noisy Sunday
Noisy Sunday is the last Sunday of the month. Bring your extra change (or bills) to share with Zion’s families in need. Our next noisy Sunday is January 29, 2012. It will be for families in need. In February it will be for Rebekah’s Haven. March will be for our youth for “Acquiring the Fire” weekend. December’s donation of $44.96 went to Toledo Gospel Rescue Mission
January 22, 2012 will be “Bring a Friend or Family Member to Church”. We will give out our coffee mugs to visitors.

If you know someone that is in need of help during these hard times, please let them know about Zion’s Food Pantry. There is a flyer in this edition of the newsletter. If you can post it at your place of work or maybe an establishment you frequently go to we would be very grateful. On September 13th we served 8 people.
Our Feed Your Neighbor Food Pantry is now open. We are open the first Tuesday of the month from 10:00am-12:00pm. If you know someone that is in need of help during these hard times, please let them know about Zion’s Food Pantry.
The plans for our 150th Anniversary are moving along. We are asking members to write down some of their memories or stories about Zion and submit to either Pastor Ron. There will be a section on reminiscing and we need stories from the congregation. There are books in the Fellowship Hall to reserve a copy of the Congregation picture or the 150th Book. Cost of each is $1.50. You may give your payment to Pastor Ron.
Scrip order forms can be obtained in the Fellowship Hall. We are taking orders now. We have placed our first orders and plan to place two orders a month. If you need anything before the order for the month is placed you can contact Pastor Ron. Your order will be placed and you will have it forthe next afternoon.
"Help Wanted" Looking for a person who would be interested in doing a "Deep Cleaning" of the Church each month. A monetary gift for this service will be paid through Thrivent for Lutherans. If you have an interest please contact Pastor Ron ASAP for more details.
Please sign up for being a greeter after our 10:15 Service. Also, we can use more ushers. Please sign your family up for ushers for a convenient month.
