Adult Sunday School:  Fellowship Hall

Sunday 9:00 a.m. – September – June

All are welcome to attend.  Discussion on current religious views and informal study of the Bible.  

 Alpha: Fall: Tuesdays 6:30 p.m. – 12 weeks

DVD 12-week presentations featuring Nicky Gumbal.  Begins with a meal and fellowship, video and discussion on topics such as: Who is Jesus? Why did Jesus die? Does God heal today? Who is the Holy Spirit?  How can I receive the Holy Spirit? What are the gifts of the Holy Spirit?

 Alpha – Omega Bible Study:

7:30 p.m. Fourth Wednesday each month

An Advanced Bible Study led by Pastor.  Includes Bible reading and discussion.

 Altar Guild: 7:00 p.m. – 3rd Monday of each month at church.

Caring for altar linens: changing the altar cloths to correspond with the seasons of the church year. Cleaning and pressing the acolyte robes, maintaining the flower chart, setting up the communion table.

 Bell Choir:  September through May – Wednesdays -7:15 p.m. in choir room.  Opportunity for ANYONE to participate who wants to make a joyful noise unto the Lord.

 Catechism: {Confirmation Classes}

2nd Sunday in September through the last Sunday in May.

A two-year program to prepare for confirmation. Pastor – Teacher.

Choir: September – May – Thursdays – 7:30 p.m. Choir room.

Lifting voices unto the Lord for special occasions and during the offertory on Sunday.

 Coffee Klach: One Saturday a month – to be announced.

Monthly get-together for Ladies:  A time of sharing/caring.  Coffee and snacks.

 Euchre: 1st Wed of each month, 1-3 p.m.

Members and friends welcome to relax and enjoy a time of fun.

 Food Pantry:

For area needy families, including families within our church.  The first Sunday of each month is “Feed Your Neighbor Sunday.”   Members are asked to bring can goods, dry cereal and non-perishables to distribute to those in need.

 Friends of Zion: Fellowship Hall – 7:30 p.m., 3rd Wednesday of each month.

Meets to discuss Evangelism, outreach programs, and prepare welcome items for visitors.

 Joy Circle: First Monday of each month 7:30 p.m.

Held in different women’s home each month or the church. All women welcome to attend the meeting to discuss present and future projects, Bible Study and dessert.

 Mary Martha Circle: Quilting Room – Thursdays- weekly- 9:30 a.m.

All women welcome to attend to sew quilts for needy families.  Bring a sack lunch.  A time of fellowship and Bible Study.

 Men’s Bible Study Breakfast:  Fellowship Hall. 

9:00 a.m., one Saturday a month.  Dates to be announced.

Come and enjoy breakfast, fellowship, prayer and Bible Study. An opportunity to hold each other accountable.

 Panera Bread Sharing:  Pick up: Three Saturdays a month.

Pick up bread from Panera Bread restaurant; take to the church, package for Sunday morning fellowship and sharing with friends and family.


Patriarchs:  Zion’s Youth Room–2nd Wednesday – monthly -7 p.m.

A Bible Study for Women on the Old Testament lives of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Beth Moore’s DVDs are presented, discussion and prayer follows.

 Prayer Chain:

The women of Zion have an Ohio and Michigan prayer chain.  Pastor is notified and calls are made for those in need of prayer.

 Sharing Circle:  Third Sunday of month – 9:00 a.m.

Brief meeting and Bible study.  This group is in charge of the Fiesta celebration.

 Sunday School: 9:00 a.m. – September through May

Ages – 3 years old though 4th grade

Fun learning Biblical stories.

 Thrivent: Meetings and programs to be announced.

A Fraternal Organization for Lutherans with coordinators within the church.  Fundraising projects are planned and requests are submitted to Thrivent Financial for matching funds for the benefit of individuals or groups.

 Women of Zion:  Fellowship Hall

1st Saturday of January at 9 a.m. – 1st Monday in July at 7:30 p.m.

A combined meeting of all three circles of Zion women. All women of Zion welcome. Come for entertainment/speakers, discussion about goals and projects and election of officers for the upcoming year. 

 Youth Groups: Programs to be announced.

Our youth meet for chaperoned movie nights, sleepovers, and help serve at the Easter Breakfast.
